DigiVac @ PittCon 2025: Boston, MA
In the beginning of March, DigiVac was in Boston, MA, exhibiting at PittCon 2025! It took place from March 2nd to March 6th, and we were super excited to see both old and new faces!
Product Recap
While at PittCon, we brought along a few of our newest innovations. We also got to feature a vacuum oven from our friends over at Across International (one of the biggest ones we’ve showcased yet at 16 cubic feet) which also featured custom ports. In addition to the vacuum oven, though, we got to show off our newest and most improved of DigiVac’s products.
We brought along our line of Bullseye Gauges, including the Catalyst Kit featuring a Bullseye DASH with a new overlay. For portable, on-the-go vacuum measurement, the Bullseye gauges are a great addition to have. For calibration and validation purposes that are a little more included, the Catalyst Kit provides all the tools you’d need in an easy-to-carry, protective case.
We also brought along our Fyra Vacuum Controller, and the latest iteration of our data logger that pairs with the Fyra – the Torch. The Torch is a neat device since it stores the data (vacuum and temperature) collected by the Fyra locally on a USB drive. It does not transmit the information anywhere, nor does it have Bluetooth capabilities – making for a secure log that has to be physically transferred to a computer. If there is no USB, however, the Torch can store about 10 years’ worth of data locally for users to access!
Both the Fyra and the Torch were attached to Agilent’s vacuum oven that we were able to display at our booth! Along with our SNAP vacuum controller – which allows a user to set recipes for research automation.
Then, finally, we also brought along our EXACT Mobile Turbo SNAP Cart! This cart is an automated high vacuum pump-down system on wheels, which also includes medium and low vacuum control. This was the cart that was featured in a recent research paper/presentation we did (more on that to come, so keep your eyes peeled!). Easily integrate it into any lab or process you have and easily store it out of the way when not in use.
Old Faces & New Faces
Between showcasing all of DigiVac’s newest innovations, we got to check out a lot of familiar booths and say hi to some of our friends! We also met new faces, where we discussed different vacuum systems and processes.
We were able to connect with our friends at Agilent, NAVAC, FilTech, Yamato, Edwards and Pfeiffer. In connecting with them, we were able to touch upon a variety of vacuum related topics. Some of those topics included the opportunities that the EXACT cart could bring, while other topics had to do with the vacuum technology market in general.
Otherwise, it was a great PittCon filled with innovation and brilliant minds from across the industry, and we cannot wait to attend the next one!
